Ich liebe Pink

Natürliche sowie künstliche Materialien als auch Readymades prägen das Bild meiner Installationen. Die Materialaussage und deren Anwendung tragen neben der Gesamtästhetik einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum Inhalt bei.
Dieses goldene Lamm steht im Spannungsfeld zwischen seiner Materialaussage und der Ikonografie, in der alte und neue Kräfte miteinander um Macht und Einfluss ringen. Steht Gold für materiellen Wohlstand, verspricht das Lamm Gottes dem Gläubigen die Erlösung im Jenseits. Plötzlich funkelt es, das Schlagmetall bewegt sich, es erregt unsere Aufmerksamkeit. Im Licht erscheint es auf einmal glamourös – wie ein "Schmuckstück".
Das Gesicht bedeckt, liegt es als Mysterium im Raum. Unerkannt, seine Identität nicht preisgebend ist das Gesicht hinter einer pinkfarbenen Maske versteckt. Die Farbe wirkt schrill und auffällig. Aus welchen kulturellen Zusammenhängen schöpft der Ausdruck der pinkfarbenen Maske?
Vervollständigt wird das Objekt durch den Titel "Ich liebe Pink" welcher auf eine emotionale Zuwendung hinweist, der ich als Betrachter nicht widersprechen kann. Oder fällt die Aufmerksamkeit und Zuneigung des Rezipienten eher auf den monetären Wert – Gold zu Gold als Statussymbol, steht für Luxus, Reichtum, Macht und eine gewisse Freiheit. Dies wiederum widerspricht dem Ansatz des Glaubens, stellt ihn in einen überraschenden Kontext und ermöglicht somit eine unerwartete Wahrnehmung.

This golden lamb stands at the crossroads between its statement of the material and Iconography in which old and new forces struggle for power and influence. Gold stands for material prosperity, and the Lamb of God promises salvation in the hereafter. All of a sudden it sparkles, the blow metal moves, it grabs our attention. It the light it appears glamorous-just like a piece of jewelry.
The face is covered, seems to be a mystery. Undetected, not revealing its identity, hiding its face behind a pink mask. The color is shrill striking. From which cultural connections does the expression of the pink mask scoop?
The object only becomes complete through its title ”I Love Pink“ which refers to an emotional devotion the observer cannot resist and disagree. Or is the observer’s attention and devotion drawn more on the monetary world — gold to gold as a status symbol, stands for luxury, wealth, power and a certain kind of freedom. That again disagrees with the principles of faith, puts it in a surprising context and enables an unexpected perception.
